Erinn Napier is widely known as the co-host of HGTV's Home Town alongside her husband, Ben Napier. The television personality celebrates sweet, Southern style with country-chic and family-friendly interiors.

When she took to Instagram to share the twin bed nook in her home, interior designers became obsessed with how Erin's cozy room design combined a functional, space-saving idea with a cozy, relaxing look.

The photo shows Erin's daughter snuggling with her father, Ben Napier, on her twin mattress tucked into a built-in nook. The walls have charming paneling, while the bed is covered in a sweet blue and red country quilt. A warm light fills the space. Beneath the 'bed,' large drawers provide additional storage. Erin captions the picture: 'I love a nook and a sconce.'

Interior design experts were quick to agree with her and laud the warmth of Erin Napier's small bedroom idea.

Cory Alisa Ferris, principal designer at Cory Alisa Fine Arts and Interior Design says, 'Not only is tucking a bed into a nook a major space saver, it creates an intimate part of the home that undoubtedly brings a sense of whim with its cozy and inviting climb-on-in feel!' She continues, 'A comfy nook to nap, read, or binge a favorite show provides a calm refuge. The additional functionality as a guest bed is a major bonus, especially for small spaces.'

Simran Kaur adds 'tucking a bed into a nook promotes feelings of safety, groundedness, and coziness- all the essentials for a tranquil doze-off. Being tucked into a cozy corner naturally makes us feel more safe and primed for a good night's sleep.'

Aside from just being a great cozy bedroom idea, designers admire the functional aspects of this design. 'A nook is a fantastic way to incorporate clever storage solutions. The opportunities are endless depending on the space - niches with shelving, drawers beneath, hanging baskets... be creative!' says interior designer Cory Alisa.
